Day 1 Keflavík / Reykjavik
Your flight arrives in Keflavik, here you can collect your vehicle for the week and drive to Reykjavik. Today you can enjoy a dip in the warm waters of the famous Blue Lagoon.

Day 2 Þingvellir / Gullfoss / Geysir
Today we recommend exploring Icelands famous Golden Circle including the beautiful Þingvellir UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Mid-Atlantic fault and meeting place of the world’s oldest Parliament. The exciting geothermal area of Geysir with the extraordinary Strokkur Geyser is not to be missed. Gullfoss waterfall (‘Golden Waterfall’), the gigantic two-tiered waterfall is found nearby and is perhaps even more magical in the winter when its cascades are frozen! Tonight we have arranged accommodation for you in the iconic Southern Icelandic town Hella.

Day 3 Hella / Skaftafell
Today you have time to explore Vatnajökull National Park and its amazing blue tinted glaciers. There are lots of stunning marked hiking trails here, perhaps you want to stroll to Skaftafellsjökull glacier or venture to Morsárdalur valley and Bæjarstaðarskógur woods.

Day 4 Skaftafell / Jökulsarlon / Skaftafell
Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon is a truly magical place where glittering lumps of floating ice drift from Breidarmerkurjökull towards the sea. Nearby you can find black sand beaches scattered with mini icebergs and you can take a boat trip here through the ice filled waters.

Day 5 Skaftafell / Vík
Today you head to Vik and the iconic black sand beaches of Reynisfjara - rated in the top 10 most beautiful beaches in the world! With dramatic North Atlantic Ocean waves, black sands, impressive basalt columns, a huge cave, interesting folklore history plus the chance of puffin sightings this is a destination not to be missed. (This area is so impressive that it has featured in many films and TV shows including Star Wars Rogue One, Star Trek Into Darkness and Game of Thrones)

Day 6 Vík / Reykjavik
Tonight it's back to Reykjavik for a free walking tour of the city but on the way why not visit the iconic Skógar and Skógafoss waterfall, this waterfall is particularly impressive when it is frozen and there is a folk museum here with old peat-roofed houses.

Day 7 Reykjavik
Today is reserved for exploring Icelands capital city Reykjavik - why not join a walking tour of the capital city? There are lots of things to do here, visit a museum, explore the cities iconic landmarks and eat at a local restaurant. Today is a also chance to visit the famous Blue Lagoon if you did not have a chance on day 1.
