When you book a trip with Altaï Travel, you have the option to purchase travel insurance. You have up to 14 days to purchase this insurance from the date you book your trip. We hope you will never need to use it, but in the event that something goes wrong, it’s good to know you are covered.Altaï Travel, in partnership with Assurinco and Mutuaide Assistance, offers you an insurance package tailored to your needs. It is very important to think about it now!  
When you subscribe to this travel insurance with Altaï Travel, it is also applicable to the local agencies based abroad.

THE MULTI-RISK INSURANCE POLICY(4.1% OF THE TOTAL PRICE OF THE TRIP)  

This multi-risk policy is specifically adapted to adventure travel and is designed to protect you in all circumstances from the risks inherent in our travels and activities. By choosing to take our comprehensive insurance you will be protected before and during your trip. This policy will cover you for the following: 
  • Cancellation insurance (including medical incapacity that prevents you being able to participate in the activity you have booked)
  • Price guarantee (in the event of fuel surcharges, airport tax increases, and currency fluctuations)
  • Missed departure
  • Flight, boat or train delays
  • Impossible departure
  • Luggage (including sports and business equipment and delayed delivery)
  • Costs of interrupting a stay or sporting / leisure activity
  • Impossible return
  • Personal assistance: medical repatriation, medical and/or hospitalisation costs abroad, etc.

THE MULTI-RISK INSURANCE POLICY PLUS EPIDEMIC OR PANDEMIC COVER(5,1 % OF THE TOTAL PRICE OF THE TRIP) 

In addition to the multi-risk insurance cover, this policy offers you additional guarantees specific to epidemics and pandemics.

How to report a claim?  

  • For any insurance claim (Cancellation, Price guarantee, Luggage, Interruption of stay, ...)

This insurance contract is offered to you by Altaï in accordance with article L.513-1 of the insurance code - SAS with a capital of 190,350€ - RCS MARSEILLE 388 318 313 - Head office: Avenue André Roussin, Immeuble le Néréis, 13016 MARSEILLE. In the event of a complaint concerning the distribution of the insurance contract, you may send your complaint in writing to the head office address. This insurance product provides insurance cover to indemnify the beneficiary against travel-related risks.  

The guarantees that have been put in place in this insurance contract correspond to the requirements and needs of people who go on sports and adventure trips and who wish to be covered against the risks associated with this trip.  All your guarantees and exclusions are listed in the standardised information document on the insurance product (DIP) and the General Conditions, which alone are contractually binding.
